My son Antonio Casseem Armstrong was born on September 19,1998. He was killed on October 6,2021. He was killed in Harlem, New York,200 W.147th st apt 5A. The police dept involved was 32nd precinct Manhattan Squad.
Not sure of police officers that was involved. The status of case is still under investigation. I filed a 50h hearing with attorney Remy Green at femme law, but couldn’t take the case very difficult and expensive to fight he said. Other attorneys said they would take case and then drop out after holding case for 2-3 months. I also filed a complaint with CCRB and was told it’s still under investigation. I applied for a foil and information still hasn’t been released and it’s now 3 years and 2 months. He was killed the media painted my baby as a monster his autopsy report showed differently is why I’m continually fighting for my child. My daughter who was 13 at the time on my son’s 1 year death anniversary was attacked by the same precinct. Then lied and said that they didn’t touch her which video footage of bystanders showed how they were pulling and tugging on her until she fell they also tried reaching for their guns is why she’s traumatized and going through.
As, for my son he’s no longer here, officers told my son he was going to die and it’s exactly what happened. The way they left that apt and left his body until 2/3pm is crazy when I arrived in nyc looking and calling hospital trying to find my baby no one had him. Called back the precinct and they want to give me the run around finally when I went to precinct the next morning they started to give me runaround and I told them no I did this already you need to tell me where my child is I’m not leaving until somebody tells me something so then they give me the number to medical examiner’s office which they also tried but I wasn’t having it and then they said for me to come down I get there and still wasn’t able to see him they gave me a photo copy to view of just his head and only one side “it was to devastating to see” they said. It’s 2024 and I finally found an attorney that listened to me viewed my son’s body, the apartment and autopsy report had their forensic team looked at everything I sent and said no nothing adds up and the fact that they still haven’t released bodycam footage nor any other documents and an ongoing investigation still open is showing they’re hiding something. But I’m going to keep fighting not just him but other families also.
